We will work together to solve these mysteries, you will know and understand what the best food choices are and how to prepare and store the foods correctly to maintain the best level of freshness possible, ensuring that you have the tastiest and most nutritious food for your family. - Supermarket Tour. This includes a walk through the supermarket looking at what are the best food choices for you, it includes how to read nutrition labels on various produce and how to assess what is the best choice. We also look a the star rating and the Heart Foundation tick to understand why these don’t really give a good guide to what we should eat or feed our families and what would be the healthiest, tastiest and most nutritious choices to make.
- Pantry Cleanout. We work through your pantry and fridge working out what are everyday foods and what are occasional foods or even what we would be better off without. We discuss safe and appropriate storage of foods. We discuss what would be healthier options and some recipe ideas that would suit the whole family.
